Chiara Dailey, a sophomore at La Jolla High in California, repeated as winner of the Division 3-4-5 girls varsity team sweepstakes race by covering the 2.93-mile layout in 16:52 at the 75th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational Presented by Nike in Walnut, Calif. Dailey improved on her victorious 16:58 effort as a freshman to elevate to the No. 4 all-time sophomore competitor at Mt. SAC, including the fastest in the San Diego Section, helping La Jolla place fourth as a team with 144 points, including third among Division 4 programs.
