Chiara Dailey, a sophomore at La Jolla High in California, won the Division 4 girls title by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 17:09.2 at Woodward Park in Fresno at the CIF State Cross Country Championships. Dailey helped the Vikings take third as a team by a 151-152 margin behind runner-up Palos Verdes High.
